Bill’s Eagle Lake Fishing Tips
Our very own Bill Jabin took a trip to Eagle lake this week with friends and family.
They did pretty well.
Ron picked up two trout trolling bright orange Jay Fair Flies at 2.5 mph, one color of lead core, in 4–5 ft of water at 57 °F. Brian’s fish came deeper on a #1 Red Dot Frog Needlefish with Chrome Killer Scent around 7 ft, with Humdinger and Red Dot Frog both producing. Shallow orange early, deeper frog later — steady troll and scent make the difference.
Luis and Friends Napa River Adventure
Our good customer Luis and a group of friends fished the Napa River last Friday evening.
As you can see, they did pretty well using white Keitech swimbait with white 1/2 ounce jig-head. Congrats Luis! Nice catch.
