Specific Topics -The different types of shotgun safeties, such as manual safeties, crossbolt safeties, and trigger safeties -How to check the safety status of a shotgun -How to load and unload a shotgun safely -How to operate the different mechanisms of a shotgun -How to store a shotgun in a safe or other secure location -The laws and regulations governing the possession and use of shotguns in your state Takeaways -By the end of this class, students will be able to: -Identify the different types of shotguns and their safety features -Safely handle a shotgun -Safely operate a shotgun -Safely store a shotgun -Understand the laws and regulations governing shotguns Prerequisites There are no prerequisites for this class. Instructor The instructor for this class is a DOJ-certified firearms instructor with extensive experience in firearms safety and training.
