Join us for Learn To Fish Day at Napa Sea Ranch on Saturday, May 30. Napa Fishing Club and Sweeney’s Sports will provide free frozen anchovies and hands-on help with rigging, casting, and getting started. Bring your own setup or rent gear on the spot. Space is limited to 40 participants.

About the event
Join Napa Fishing Club and Sweeney’s Sports for Learn To Fish Day at Napa Sea Ranch on Saturday, May 30.
This beginner-friendly event is designed to help new anglers and families get comfortable with the basics of fishing. We’ll provide hands-on help with rigging, casting, baiting up, and getting your line in the water.
Free frozen anchovies will be provided as bait. You’re welcome to bring your own fishing setup, or you can rent gear on the spot if needed.
Please note: participants will pay their Sea Ranch entrance fee directly to Napa Sea Ranch. Entrance is $5 per adult, and kids are free.
Space is limited to 40 participants, so please register early. This event is sponsored by Napa Fishing Club and Sweeney’s Sports as part of our mission to help more people — especially kids and families — get outside and enjoy fishing together.
